Hot Shot & Handbell Choir

The school choirs are for 4th and 5th grade students and have several performances throughout the year.  Heatherwood's music teacher, Lynette Schulz, serves as the director for both choir groups.

    Handbell Choir

The Heatherwood Handbell Choir is for 4th and 5th grade students and will perform throughout the year.

    General Information

Rehearsals are on Fridays from 2:30-3:15 pm in the music room and stage. The first semester begins in
September and has a final performance in December. The second semester begins in January with a final
performance in late April with the Hot Shot Choir. Because we are a performing group, it is important to have all ringers present at our weekly rehearsal and at the performance.

    Cost

$15 is used to cover the costs of music, bell supplies and gloves.

    Hot Shot Choir

The Hot shot choir is for 4th and 5th grade students who enjoy singing! This will be a quality
experience emphasizing vocal technique and part singing.

    General Information

Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:15 pm in the music room and stage. Rehearsals will
begin in January with a final performance in late April with the Handbell Choir. Because we are a
performing group, it is important to have all the singers present at our weekly rehearsal and at the
performance. There may be additional performance opportunities and that information will be
    distributed as needed.

    Costs

$25 is used to cover the cost of music, music supplies, and a Hot Shots t-shirt. Hot Shots can use
the t-shirt from the previous year. For students who are re-using a t-shirt, the fee is $15.
